Papyrus Network is looking for a Team leader Business Warehouse

Papyrus, with net sales of EUR 1 896 million in 2010, is one of Europe’s leading merchants in paper, facility supplies and packaging. It supplies about 1.8 million tonnes of paper annually. Papyrus currently has a presence in 22 European countries and employs some 2 700 people. The Papyrus head office is located in Mölndal, Sweden.

Papyrus Network is the central IT-competence centre of Papyrus with responsibility for development and operations of common IT-systems and IT-services for Papyrus. This includes provision of business warehouse services as an integral part of the common application platform based on SAP (Papyrus Network has 60 employees located in Mölndal (Sweden) and Ettlingen (Germany).

In order to meet business demands for Business Warehouse services we are looking for an experienced IT-professional to lead our IT Development Team for Business Warehouse. Intention is to develop our  BW agenda further  in order to leverage investment made in a common ERP platform and to provide important decision data for the management. As part of that we plan to lift the user interface to a flexible and graphical level.

Besides leading the team you will also act as an internal consultant and involve yourself hands-on in the daily work with the data warehouse and the reporting. The job will require close cooperation with business and other functional areas in our IT-organisation. Professional team management are key capability as well as deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP BW.

We believe that you are a person with previous experience from SAP Business Warehouse implementations in an international environment. You have a background from both, working with strategic aspects of SAP BI solutions and from hands-on development work. You have demonstrated a high drive and commitment achieving results in a complex context. It is also important that you are a team player with capacity to lead the team and motivate people around you.

Your work tasks

• Ensure that BW solutions and services are delivered in a timely and cost efficient manner
• Lead the BW team and further develop the team capabilities
• Execute hands-on in the development process and conceptual work
• Manage BW related projects in the framework of our IT project portfolio
• Drive the level of innovation around BW
• Ensure proper communications to the business as well as within IT
• Responsibility for department budget and related personnel

Your profile

• Relevant experience with development and implementation of SAP BW and Netweaver 7.1 from a strategic and hands-on perspective
• Team leader experience including responsibility for personnel
• Experience from Business Objects or comparable BI tools are of high interest
• Good understanding of business processes and their implementation in SAP ERP (ECC 6.0) and EWM
• Ability to take drive and lead work in an international environment
• Team player with ability to build strong relationships
• Master or Bachelor degree where theoretical knowledge can be combined with practical experience
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English. Other languages seen as an advantage.

The position is located in Mölndal and will report to Head of IT Development.
