Critical to Kellys success is the development of its business in the Europe, Middle East & Africa(EMEA)region.

The EMEA region consists of Kelly Operations in 17countries with more than 400 branches and c. 2,000 permanent employees.







The role




The Compensation and Benefits Manager is an integral part of the European Human Resources team, reporting directly to the EMEA HR Vice President and to the Vice President, Global Compensation, Benefits & HRIM.




The main mission of this position is to develop, recommend and implement the total compensation programs of the company in the EMEA region and provide expertise and guidance to countries on compensation related topics.







Key accountabilities of this role will include:







Manage incentive plans for EMEA




Conduct Market Pricing/Analysis to address new roles, equity concerns, retention issues, etc.




Participate in Market Data Surveys




Administrates Stock Plans for EMEA employees




Manage Total Compensation Review (TCR)




Prepare summary of TCR spend vs. budget by country, region and EMEA overall




Prepare market analysis of EMEA salary increase budgets and review country proposals




Manage and implement Kelly Global Structuring (KGS)




Coordinate review of HRIM solution for EMEA, identify and select vendor, develop project plan and begin implementation (as budget permits)




Update and manage International Vehicle Policy




Review benefits by country







The ideal candidate




Experience & Background







university degree, preferably with a specialization in Human Resources




7-10 or more years experience in a Compensation and Benefits position ideally in staffing. Mastering the management of a remuneration system, the candidate should have worked in a multinational firm and supported various countries




Knowledge







Solid and deep knowledge of international compensation and benefits practices




Understanding of HR regulations and laws and employee relations issues




Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential, whereas the command of another European language is an asset.




Skills & Behaviours




Excellent numerical reasoning and communication skills are required to be successful in this role. An ability to master Excel spreadsheets is also required. As the EMEA HR team is small in scale the ideal candidate needs to be capable of operating directly and alone both within EMEA and across the Corporation. In broad terms the successful candidate will be able to display evidence of their ability to:







Work with ambiguity within a matrix work environment and adopt a flexible approach to the role.




Balance strategy with tactical deployment.




Stand up to challenge from demanding senior customers.
