Global Rig Company ASA is a newly established oil & gas land rig company with offices in Bergen. It has two subsidiaries, Global Rig Active AS and NorAm Drilling, Inc. The subsidiaries own and operate the rigs, respectively. With Pareto Securities ASA as facilitator, Global Rig Company ASA has raised NOK 115 million equity and NOK 120 million loan to aquire 3 rigs that is targeted for the US market for drilling. Our ambition goes far beyond this, with more rigs in more markets. Chief Accountant - Contribute in building an international companyAbout the positionGlobal Rig Company is to ensure that its’ subsidiaries delivers as promised to the market. The Chief Accountant will play an important role in this respect.Working for Global Rig Company will provide exiting opportunities as the company is planning to grow rapidly. It will give an excellent opportunity to be involved in a variety of tasks involving the rig industry, and Norwegian and International Financial Accounting.The Chief Accountant will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will have an important position in an organisation planning to grow. The parent company is at present 5 people. We are looking for a candidate with the flexibility to manage a variety of tasks in a structured and self reliant way, and that is interested in contributing in the development of an international company.Women are encouraged to apply for the position.
