Analyst and/or Consultants in Stockholm

In addition to the Nordics and Europe, Pöyry has more than 15 years of experience working in energy markets in developing countries. We are currently recruiting for Analyst and/or Consultant to join the team working from our office in Stockholm, Sweden.

However, as an Analyst or Consultant in Pöyry, you are expected to be flexible and contribute to a spectrum of projects ranging from the Swedish/Nordic energy markets to International energy projects.

Pöyry has been active in the African energy markets for more than 15 years. Pöyry has been highly involved in electricity sector reform processes in for example Angola and Tanzania. We offer credible management consulting services to our clients, based on our deep and outstanding knowledge and experience in these markets. Services include strategic advice, capacity building and technical assistance, business development and analysis, and transaction services, including technical and commercial due diligence.

The Position:
As analyst/consultant, you will be involved in all stages of our business:

• You support senior staff in developing relations with clients, identify needs and sell solutions.
• You participate in projects and deliver results to our clients.
• You contribute to developing skills and competences in the Pöyry organization.

The Requirements:
Pöyry is looking for results oriented individuals to join our team based in Stockholm, Sweden. The ideal candidate/s will meet the following requirements:

• Masters Level Degree, preferably in economics or equivalent
• Previous work experience

o Analyst: up to 2 years
o Consultant: minimum 2 years

• Fluent in at least Swedish and English, additional language skills is desirable
• Strong analytical skills, including problem solving and financial understanding
• Sector knowledge

o Analyst: Basic knowledge of the energy sector
o Consultant: Some experience from working with energy issues in developing countries

• Interpersonal skills. Comfortable working with management as well as operational staff, and working in an international business environment.
• Highly motivated work style
